About the Journal of Cell Biology (JCB)

Journal of Cell Biology publishes advances in many areas of basic cell biology, as well as applied cellular advances in fields such as immunology, neurobiology, metabolism, microbiology, developmental biology, and plant biology. JCB is published by Rockefeller University Press. At JCB, all editorial decisions on research manuscripts are made through collaborative consultation between Rockefeller University Press scientific editors and academic editors.

Why submit your research?

  • Format Neutral: You may submit your papers in ANY format.
  • Transfer Policy: We welcome submissions that include reviewer comments from another journal. You may also request manuscript transfer between Rockefeller University Press journals.
